  Materials/process: digital art sketch Ideas:mother centipedes take care of their young after they are born & people who dont get affection sometimes seek it out from dangerous places. You dont see the head or tail (beginning or end) of the centipede because you dont know it's motives or intentions.

  Process & materials: pencil sketch on paper Ideas: my first idea was based on a girl looking like a chrysalis so this piece will serve as a sequel and show a girl who's hatched from a chrysalis and now has wings, representing how people can grow and become new from childhood or adversity

 sketch:  my composition sketch for this artwork was done digitally. my thought process was to show a close portrait of a girl with a butterfly and have the area around the butterfly distorted with colors and shapes to represent errors in memory
