sketch: my composition sketch for this artwork was done digitally. my thought process was to show a close portrait of a girl with a butterfly and have the area around the butterfly distorted with colors and shapes to represent errors in memory

UNFINISHED Materials: goache Processes: i used a 3d modelling app to pose a person for anatomy, sketched it out onto paper then painted goache over it. Ideas: girl holding a grub (early stage in the life of some bugs) as symbolism for protecting an inner child later in life, later will be surrounded with abstract forms and bug wings

i sketched my ideas for composition digitally then experimented with goache layering on different paper types to see if that was the right material to use.
