Process & materials: pencil sketch on paper
Ideas: my first idea was based on a girl looking like a chrysalis so this piece will serve as a sequel and show a girl who's hatched from a chrysalis and now has wings, representing how people can grow and become new from childhood or adversity

 sketch:  my composition sketch for this artwork was done digitally. my thought process was to show a close portrait of a girl with a butterfly and have the area around the butterfly distorted with colors and shapes to represent errors in memory
